An accident left me unable to walk without an assistive device...I've used my multiple purchases to BLING-OUT my rolling walker :-) ! quickly learned that people cannot help but stare at most disabled people, some with pity and others with questions, so after fending off both since August, 2011 I finally decided to make pink lemonade out of life's lemons !! My rolling walker is now wonderfully unique--just like me. I worked for hours slowly applying a myriad assortment of different styles and colors of these self-adhesive "jewels" to my device and now, along with the stares, I also see many smiles !! Several patients at rehab have suggested I begin making these walkers and selling them :-))) !!! My swift reply is "NO WAY !!" I am not a craft person: terribly unimaginative and seemiingly born without the slightet ability to do even simple projects...but these little gems have changed my world and the world of everyone who sees me rolling around. I am home-bound, so I was delighted to find Create for Less on the web! I highly recommend both the site and the marvelous selection of all things crafty ! The stick-on rhinestone gems/jewels seem to adhere well and while I've lost a few to transporters who aren't as careful with my walker as they should be when driving me to rehab, I will be purchasing more to replace those lost!!
