Description: Maple Island Quilts Hot Sticks Pattern. The small angled stick creates a pinwheel movement. Use fat quarters or 1/4 yard cuts for the blocks. A great project for using what you have! Each Fat Quarter or 1/4 yard will make two 10 inch blocks. Pattern includes 4 quilt sizes: Crib 39 x 40 inch, Lap 49 x 60 inch, Twin 69 x 90 inch and Queen 99 x 100 inch. The scrappy border on 2 sides uses the remainders from the Fat Quarters. The pattern includes an alternate border for the 3 larger sizes; still using the remainders of the Fat Quarters.
